This device utilizes the rapid drying method, allowing for on-the-spot measurements of moisture levels. The procedure involves the reaction between water and calcium carbide when mixed, a gas is produced. The gas is directly proportional to the amount of water present in the sample and results in a percentage moisture range of 0-25% & 0-50%.

Standard
